PART IX - FINANCIAL

Section 40. Expenditure of Wakaf Fund

(1) Unless otherwise provided, the wakaf principal money may be utilised for the purpose of -

(a) purchasing any

wakaf

property under this Enactment;

(b) financing the development of any

mawquf;

and

wakaf.

(2) Unless otherwise provided, the wakaf benefit money may be utilised for the purpose of-

(a) any payments of usufruct or benefit which the

mawquf-alaih

is entitled to receive;

(b) purchasing of any

wakaf

property under this Enactment;

mawquf;

(d) any payments payable for discharging of any encumbrances on any property intended to be endowed;

(e) all costs, payments and expenses for administration and management of

wakaf

including the cost for maintenance and repair of any

mawquf

; and

(f) any other payments determined by the

Wakaf

Management Committee.
