PART VI - SPECIAL PROVISIONS CHAPTER 21 - PROCEEDINGS IN CASES OF CERTAIN OFFENCES AFFECTING THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE
Section 176. Appeal.
(1) All sentences passed under the provisions of this Chapter shall be appealable to the Syariah High Court in the case of sentences passed by the Syariah Subordinate Court, and to the Syariah Appeal Court in the cases of sentences passed by the Syariah High Court.
(2) The provisions of Chapters XVII and XVIII shall, so far as they are applicable, apply to appeals under this section and the appellate Court may reject the appeal or alter or reverse the finding or reduce, alter or quash the sentence.
(3) The provisions of Chapter XIX shall also apply to all proceedings under this Chapter.
