Section 27. Forms of summons and service
(1) Every summons to appear issued by a Court under this Code shall be in writing in Form 2 set out in the Schedule and signed by the Judge and shall bear the seal or chop of the Court.
(2) The summons shall state the general nature of the offence charged and the section and the Enactment under which it is punishable.
(3) Such summons shall ordinarily be served by an officer of the Court but the Court issuing the summons may if it sees fit direct it to be served by any other person.
