Section 87. Guardian may maintain children from income.
(1) A guardian of the property of a child appointed by Court may make reasonable provision from the income of that property to meet the needs and education of the child befitting his status in the society but no amount of money exceeding three hundred ringgit per month may be utilised for this purpose unless approved by Court.
(2) If the income from the property is insufficient for the purpose of sub-section (1), or if money is required for the development of the child, the court may order that provisions for this purpose be made from the capital asset of the child, and for this purpose the Court may give such directions as necessary in the interest of the child.
