Section 189. Intoxicating drinks.

(1) Any person who carries, possesses, distributes, purchases or seIJs any intoxicating drink in public or in any public place commits an offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six month or with both.

(2) Any person who drinks any intoxicating drink in public or in any public place commits an offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months or with both.
