PART IV - COURTS OF KADI
Section 21. Civil Jurisdiction.
In its civil jurisdiction, the Court of Kadi shall hear and determine all actions and proceedings in which all the parties are Muslims and which relate to:
(i) betrothal, marriage and divorce, revocation of marriage and separation by order of Court;
(ii) any gift or claim to property arising out of any of the matters stated in paragraph (i);
(iii) status of infants, maintenance of dependants and custody or unbringing of infants under the age of maturity;
(iv) wakaf, nazar, will, zakat and fitrah; and
(v) other matters in respect of which jurisdiction is conferred by any written law.
