Section 202. Lectures in mosques.

(1) No person shall deliver any lecture in any form whatsoever in any mosque without first obtaining a written permission, whether Generally or specially, from the Commissioner or any Person authorized by him.

(2) The Commissioner may, by notification in the Gazette, exempt any body or organization from the provisions of subsection (1).

(3) Whoever contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months or with both.
