PART XX - EXECUTION
Section 159. Sale.
Where any property is sold in execution-
(a) the sale shall take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. ;
(b) the sale, save as in paragraphs (f) shall be by public auction without reserve, and every lot shall be paid for in cash before the completion of the auction; no person having any duty to perform the auction may bid or otherwise directly or indirectly acquire or attempt to acquire any interest in the property sold, but the judgment creditor may bid, unless the Court shall otherwise order, and, with the prior leave of the Court, the purchase money and the amount due on the judgment may be set-off against one another, and the judgment shall be deemed to be satisfied wholly or pro tanto accordingly ;
(c) notice of the date, time and place of the sale and of the property to be sold shall be posted at the Court House and at the place of the sale not less than 6 days before the sale ;
(d) negotiable instruments and other secutities may with the leave of the Court be sold without auction through the agency of a recognized stock and share broker ;
(e) every sale shall be executed by the Court ;
(f) the Court may in any case for sufficient reason order sale in other manner.
