Section 123. Time of executing such sentence of whipping.

(1) When the accused is sentenced to imprisonment and whipping, the execution of whipping shall not be inflicted if an appeal is made until the sentence is confirmed by the appropriate Court of appeal.

(2) The whipping shall be inflicted as soon as practicable after the expiration of the fourteen days, or in case of an appeal as soon as practicable after the receipt of the order of the appropriate Court of appeal confirming the sentence.
