Section 16. Counduct of Business

(1) Except as otherwise expressly provided by this Enactment, all business of the Majlis shall be conducted at a meeting thereof regularly convened which shall not exceed a period of three calendar months from the last meeting and shall be disposed of by resolution of the majority of the members present and entitled to vote.

(2) A resolution in writing by circular signed and agreed to by a majority of members of the Majlis shall, unless in any special case or class of cases the Yang di-Pertuan Agong otherwise directs, have the same effect as resolution duly passed under subsection (1).
