Section 204. Signing of affidavit.
(1) Subject to any rules made by the Court any affidavit may be used in Court if it is affirmed-
(a) in Malaysia, before a Syariah Judge, Kadi or registrar of the Syariah Court in any state;
(b) in Singapore or Brunei Darulsalam before any Syariah Judge or Kadi of that country;
(c) in any other place, before a Muslim officer who performs the consular functions for the Government of Malaysia.
(2) The Court shall take judicial notice of the seal or signature of any Syariah Judge, Kadi, registrar of the Syariah Court or consular officer written or named in any affidavit.
