PART X - GENERAL

Section 105. Rules.

Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan may, on the advice of the Majlis, by notification in the Gazette, make rules for carrying out the provisions of this Enactment, and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, such rules may provide for -

(a) any amtters relating to the establishment of a corporation referred to in section 8;

(b) the procedure of the Majlis, the form and method of executing the instruments of the Majlis;

(d) appointment of the Committees under this Enactment and their powers, responsibilities and procedures;

(e) allowances and benefits to be paid to the members of the Majlis and the Committees appointed;

(f) any fees to be paid in respect of any act or thing done under or in pursuance of this Enactment, and the method of collecting and disposing of such fees;

(g) the forms, registers, account books, reports, accounts, estimates, and other documents to be used in respect of any act or thing done under or in pursuance of this Enactment;

(h) the control of any mosque, places of worship, burial grounds and all matters relating thereto;

(i) the powers, responsibilities and duties of mosque officials;

(j) management and control of matters of finance;

(k) control of religious teachings and learning and registration of religious schools and teachings centres;

(l) management and administration of religious schools and classes;

(m) control of the teachings, classes and dakwah activities;

(n) instruction, supervision and manner of registering of Muslim converts;

(o) control, establishment and administration of welfare homes for Muslims;

(p) matters relating to the Malay Custom of Perak;

(q) offences and penalties relating to matters provided in this Enactment; and

(r) other matters necessary for the implementation of the provision of this Enactment.
