Section 65. Tenure of office of mosque officials.

(1) The Imam and Bilal shall hold office as long as required by the Majli and the Majlis may terminate their services by giving written notice.

(2) No Imam or Bilal shall remain in office after reaching the age of sixty years:

Provided that the Majlis may under special circumstances extend the service of any Imam or Bilal over the age of sixty years on terms deemed fit.

(3) The Jawatankuasa Kariah shall determine the condition and duration for the appointment of a Siak.
