Section 96. Summons to give evidence or to produce documents.

(1) Subject to the provisions of any other written law, the Court may issue a summons to any person to give evidence or to produce any document in his possession or power.

(2) Every summons under subsection (1) shall be served personally and any person so served, whether he is a person professing the Religion of Islam or not, shall be legally bound to comply therewith.
