Section 39. Disposal, revocation and write-offs
(1) Subject to subsection (2), no
mawquf
may be disposed except by way of
istibdal.
(2) Majlis, in relation to the properties and proceeds of
wakaf
, shall have the power-
(a) to revoke losses or deficiencies in the proceeds of
wakaf
and the value of lost property, deficient, condemned, unserviceable or obsolete; and
(b) to write-off any unrecoverable amounts of revenue, debts and overpayments.
