Section 43. Retraction of confession
To make the accused liable to hudud punishment each witness shall maintain his testimony against the accused not only during the trial and thereafter but also during the execution of the punishment because if such testimony is withdrawn before the execution of the punishment the accused shall cease to be liable of the hududpunishment, and if it is withdraw at the time when the accused is undergoing the punishment, the punishment shall forthwith cease.
