PART IV - PENALTY AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION AND REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGE
Section 31. Solemnization of marriage by unauthorised persons.
Any person who solemnizes a marriage or does any act purporting to be a solemnization of a marriage whilst he is unauthorised to do so under this Enactment, is guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to an imprisonment for a term not exceeding two months or to a fine not exceeding three hundred ringgit or both.
