(1) Any provision or interpretation of the provisions in this Enactment which is in conflict with Hukum Syara' shall be void to the extent of its inconsistency.
(2) In the event of a lacuna or if any matter is not expressly provided for in this Enactment, Hukum Syara' shall apply.
