PART II - MARRIAGE
Section 21. Polygamy.
(1) No man, during he subsistence of a marriage, shall, except with the prior certification in writing of the Kadi that he has made a declaration before the Kadi that he shall be fair towards his wives, contract another marriage, nor shall another marriage contracted without such certification be registered under this Enactment.
(2) Subsection (1) applies to the marriage in the State of Perak of a man who is resident within or outside the State of Perak and to the marriage outside the State of Perak of a man resident in the State of Perak.
