PART VI - HADHANAH OR CUSTODY OF CHILDREN
Section 91. Guardian of orphan.
If the father or paternal grandfather of the infant has died without appointing a testamentory guardian, any Qadhi, imam, penggawa, police officer not below the rank of Sergeant, any person having the custody of such infant or any person with the powers of a protector under the Children and Young Persons Act 1947 [Act 232], may cause such infant to be taken before the Court and the Court may appoint a guardian of the infant's person and property or both of them.
