PART VI - MISCELLANEOUS
Section 22. Offences and penalties
Any person who-
(a) establishes, manages or operates an Islamic School without a Certificate of Registration issued under this Enactment; or
(b) acts in contravention of any provisions of this Enactment or any rules made thereunder,
shall be guilty of an offence and, where no punishment is prescribed for the offence, shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit, or in the case of a second or subsequent offence, with imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit.
