Section 46. Instigating husband or wife to divorce or to neglect duties

Any person who instigates, forces or persuades any man or woman to be divorced or to neglect his or her duties and responsibilities as a husband or a wife commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
