Section 59. Appointment of Syariah Subordinate Court Judges.

(1) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the recommendation of the Chief Syarie Judge, may appoint from amongst members of the general public service of the Federation Syariah Subordinate Court Judges.

(2) Every appointment under subsection (1) shall be published in the Gazette.
