Section 17. Iqrar defined
(1) An iqrar is a statement made by a person concerning an obligation of another person towards him orally, in writing or by gesture and under the circumstances hereinafter mentioned.
(2) An iqrarmade outside Court is only admissible if it was made before two impartial witnesses.
(3) An iqrarby a representative during proceedings made on behalf of the principal before a Judge is admissible.
(4) An iqrarconcerning zina is only admissible if made before the Court.
