Section 44. Taking away a married woman
Any person who takes away a married woman or causes her to leave her husband commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to whipping not exceeding six strokes or to any combination thereof, and the Court may order the woman to return or to be sent to her husband.
