Section 169. Acting as Imam, Khatib, or Bilal at Friday prayer.

(1) No person shall act as Imam, Khatib, or Bilal in connexion with the performance of any Friday prayer at any plafe unless he is an Imam, Khatib, or Bilal appointed under this Part or is a person authorized by the Department to so act in connexion with the particular Friday prayer in question.

(2) No person so appointed shall act as Imam, Khatib, or Bilal in connexionl with the performance of any Friday prayer, other than at the mosque to which he is for the time being appointed, or assigned by the Department, unless he is so authorized by the Department.
