Section 27. Punishment for qatl-al-’amd
(1) Except as provided in subsection (2), any person who commits
qatl-al-‘amd
shall be punished with death as
qisas
punishment.
(2) The punishment of
qisas
in subsection (1) shall not be imposed:
(a) the offence is not proved by the evidence required under Part III; or
(b) notwithstanding such proof, the
wali
remits the
qisas.
