PART IV - PARTIES



Section 21. Minor plaintiff attaining majority.

(1) A minor plaintiff shall, on attaining majority during the pendency of the proceedings, either withdraw the same before taking any step there in or adopt the same.

(2) No leave to withdraw shall be required, but the provision of Part XIV shall applys as regards subsequent proceedings.

(3) If the plaintiff withdraws as aforesaid, he shall not be personally liable for costs, unless the Court shall so order.

(4) If there are more plaintiff than one, the former minor plaintiff shall not be entitled to withdraw without leave, but may apply to the Court to dismiss him from the action and the Court may do so or if he is necessary party, may strike him out, as plaintiff and add him as defendant, in either case on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Court.

(5) If the plaintiff adopts the proceedings, he shall do so by applying to amend the title of the proceedings, and the Court shall amend the same and discharge the guardian ad litem.
