Section 123. Determining that witness is adil.
(1) When a witness has given syahadah and the Judge has reason to doubt that he is adil, the Judge shall determine the matter before making his decision.
(2) For the purpose of subsection (1) the Judge shall conduct an open examination in Court or a secret examintaion, through someone connected with the witness.
ILLUSTRATIONS
(a) If the witness is a student, he may be examined through a teacher at the school where he studies or through a trustworthy person at that place.
(b) If the witness is a member of the armed forces, examination may be conducted through the head of his unit.
(c) If the witness is a civilian, he may be examined through a trustworthy resident of the place he stays.
