PART VI - PERSONS WHO CONVERT TO THE RELIGION OF ISLAM

Section 181. Conversion to the Religion of Islam.

Anyone who has attain baligh and wishes to convert to the Religion of Islam shall recite the confession of Faith or the Dua Kamah Syahadat before any Muslim, whereupon he shall legally become a Muslim, and shall thereafter appear before the Qadi for the purpose of registration in the prescribed manner.
