PART V - DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE
Section 37. Jurisdiction.
Except as otherwise expressly provided nothing in this Enactment shall permit a Court to make an order for divorce or authorise a husband to pronounce talak unless-
(a) the marriage has been registered or deemed to have been registered under this Enactment; and
(b) the parties to the marriage are resident or domicil of this State at time of filing the application for divorce.
