Section 81. Mother can be appointed guardian.

(1) The mother can validly be appointed the executor for the father and in any such case the mother may exercise the powers of a guardian in accordance with the will, or, if there is no legal guardian, she can be appointed as guardian by the Court, but if she is not appointed as such she cannot take any action regarding the property of the infant.

(2) If the Court appoints the mother as guardian, the Court may appoint some other persons to be the guardian of the infant's person and property or either of them to act jointly with the mother.
