PART V - DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE
Section 42. Divorce under taklik or agreements.
(1) If a married woman is entitled to a divorce according to the provisions of the taklik deed, made at time of marriage, she may apply to Court to determine that a divorce under the taklik deed has occurred.
(2) A Court shall examine the application and cause an investigation to determine the validity of that divorce and if satisfied that the divorce is valid, shall certify and record it so. The Court shall forward a certified copy of the record to the relevant Registrar and Chief Registrar for registration.
