Zakat and Fitrah

Section 155. Powers of the Department.

Subject to the provisions of this Enactment, the Department shall have the power, and shall be under the duty, to collect and manage all zakat and fitrah payable in the State in accordance with Hukum Syara' on behalf of His Royal Highness the Sultan and as directed by His Royal Highness the Sultan acting on the advice of the Majlis.
