Section 232. Recording of evidence by another Court on a written request.
(1) Subject to subsection (2), a Judge may in a pending proceedmgs before another Court, take evidence of any party, witness or other persons and accept any document tendered in the proceeding.
(2) The power of the Judge under subsection (1) shall be exercised if there is a written request from the Court before whom the proceeding is still pending.
(3) Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary, the Court before whom the proceedings is still pending may, on its own motion or on the application of any party in the proceeding, request another Court to take the evidence from any party or witness in that proceedings, if the Court is satisfied on reasonable grounds that the witness or party cannot attend the Court, or if the appearance of the witness or partly will cause the party calling the witness to incurred unnecessary expenses.
