Section 58. Religious Enforcement Officers.
The head of Jabatan Agama Islam Perak may appoint from among the members of the Public Service a Religious Enforcement Officer and Assistant Religious Enforcement Officers to carry out enforcement work and the investigation of offences under the Enactment or under any other written law prescribing offences under the jurisdiction of the Syariah Court.
