PART II - MAJLIS


Section 16. Secretary

(1) Majlis shall appoint a person to be the Secretary of the Majlis.

(2) The Secretary shall be the Chief Administrator and Chief Executive Officer ofthe Majlis and shall be responsible for carrying out the policies and resolutions of the Majlis.

(3) Subject to such directions as may be given to him by the Chairman, the Secretary shall have charge of all correspondence and documents of the Majlis, and shall in all other respects carry out such duties as may be imposed upon him by this Enactment or assigned to him by the Chairman.

(4) The Secretary is entitled to attend all meetings of the Majlis and to participate in its deliberations, but is not entitled to vote.
