PART XX - EXECUTION



Section 148. Deposits of expenses.

(1) The bailiff shall not be obliged to take any action under an order for execution until the judgment creditor shall have deposited a sum sufficient in the opinion of the bailiff to defray any expenses of theexecution, including those of keeping possession for a period not exceeding 14 days. If the bailiff has to remain in possession for more than 14 days, he may require a futher deposit and, if the same be not furnished, may release the property.

(2) The bailiff shall accountfor all sums so deposited and may pay any amounts due to the judgment creditor or into Court.
