Section 39. Unauthorized solemnization of marriage
Any person who, not being authorized thereto under this Enactment, solemnizes orpurports to solemnize any marriage, commits an offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or with imprisonmentnotexceeding six months orwith both such fine and imprisonment.
