Section 80. Conversion to Islam of children

If at the time of conversion, a person whether a male or female, has a child who has not attained the age of eighteen, and the child has been ordered by a Court, other than the Syariah Court, to be in his or her custody, and he or she decides that the child, be converted to Islam, the said child becomes converted to Islam at the time the custody was granted or at the time of his or her conversion which ever the later.
