Section 17. Presiding over meetings of the Majlis.

(1) The President shall preside over akll meetings of the Majlis :

Provided that Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan or his representative, if present, may preside over any meeting of the Majlis.

(2) If the President is absent form a meeting, the members present shall elect one of their members to preside over the meeting.
