PART VIII - GENERAL
Section 124. Acknowledging another person as mother or father.
If a person acknowledges another person as his father or mother, such acknowledgment, if it is agreed or confirmed by the person acknowledged, whether in the lifetime or after the death of the person making the acknowledgment, such acknowledgment shall constitute a lawful relationship by nasab, as between the father or mother and the child only:
Provided that it is reasonable having regard to the age of the person making the acknowledgment and of the person acknowledged that the person acknowledged is the father or mother of the person making the acknowledgment.
