ENACTMENT NO. 13 OF 1984 ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW ENACTMENT 1984
PART I - PRELIMINARY
Section 4. Application.
(1) Except as is otherwise expressly provided this Enactment shall apply to all persons who profess the religion of Islam and who te temporarily reside in the State and to all persons who profess the religion of Islam and who is domiciled in the State but temporarily resides outside the State.
(2) For the purposes of this Enactment, a person who permanently resides in th State shall be deemed to be domiciled in the State until the contrary is proved.
