CHAPTER 7 - WITNESSES

Section 85. Evidence of husband, wife, parent and children as witness.

(1) Evidence of a husband against his wife and evidence of a wife against her husband is admissible as shahadah and bayyinah.

(2) Evidence of a child against his parents or evidence of a parents against the child is admissible as shahadah and bayyinah.

(3) Evidence of a husband for wife and evidence of a wife for her husband is admissible as bayyinah.

(4) Evidence of the parents for their child and evidence of a child for the parents' is admissible as bayyinah.
