Section 45. Preventing a married couple from cohabiting

Any person who prevents a legally married couple from cohabiting as a married couple commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both, and the Court shall order the couple to cohabit as a married couple.
