General Provisions

Section 65. Language and records.

(1) The language of the Court shall be Bahasa Malaysia and all documents and written proceedings may be in the Jawi or Rumi script.

(2) Whoever wishes to produce any witness in Court who is unable to speak or understand Bahasa Malaysia shall provide his expense.

(3) Every Court shall keep and maintain full and proper records of all proceedings therein and full and proper accounts of all financial transactions of the Court and shall account for all moneys received in manner provided by or under the Financial Procedure Act 1957 [Act 61.].
