Section 42. Constitution of Syariah Courts

(1) The Yang di - Pertuan Agong, on the advice of the Majlis, may by notification in the Gazetteconstitute Syariah Subordinate Courts for the State of Penang at such places as he considers fit.

(2) The Yang di - Pertuan Agong, on the advice of the Majlis, may by notification in the Gazetteconstitute a Syariah High Court for the State of Penang.

(3) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the advice of the Majlis, may by notification in the Gazetteconstitute a Syariah Appeal Court for the State of Penang.
