PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE BENEFICIARY
Section 25. Bequest to two or more unborn children, etc.
Where a pregnant woman gives birth, at a time or at two different times at an interval of less than six months, to two or more alive babies—
(a) the bequest shall be equally divided among them unless otherwise provided in the will;
(b) where one of them is stillborn, the alive one shall be entitled to the entire bequest, unless otherwise provided in the will; and
(c) where any one of the babies dies after birth and if the will is related to the corpus of the property, his share shall pass on to his heirs, and in the case of the will being of the benefit, his share shall pass to the testator’s heirs.
