PART X - GENERAL

Section 109. Transitional

On the coming into force of this Enactment all powers of the Court of the Chief Kathi or the Courts of a Kathi constituted under section 39 of the Administration of Muslim Law Enactment 1959 (En. 3/1959)shall be taken over or exercised by the courts constituted under section 42 and any reference to the Court of Kathi or Court of the Chief Kathi shall be deemed to be a reference to the court constituted under section 42 (1) and (2) of this Enactment.
