Section 18. General provisions as to disability.
(1) Where a plaintiff is a person under disability-
(a) no settlement or compromise shall be valid without the Court's sanction;
(b) all money or other property recovered for the plaintiff in, or in consequence, of such action shall paid into Court or deposited in Court, unless the Court shall otherwise order;
(c) the Court shall of its own motion, or on the application of any interested party, make such order for the investment or other disposal of the fund or property as seems proper.
(2) Any person, who desires to commence or defend any action or other proceedings, in his own right, and is unable to pay the Court fees therefor, may apply to the Court for leave to sue or defend as a poor person. The Court may by writing allow such person to sue, defend, or appeal in any proceedings as a poor person and in such case no Court fees shall be charged by such person.
